Virginia (Ginger) Thornhill Evans passed away Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at CMC Lincolnton. She was born in Charlotte, NC March 14, 1945 to the late Archie and Marceil Thornhill.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert W. Evans, Sr. and son Robert W. Evans, Jr., brother - Jim Thornhill, sister - Marceil Hoyle. Survivors include her son, Brent A. Evans, sisters - Jane Cobb (Hobby), Claire Skinner (Tom), sister-in-law - Betty Thornhill, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Donations may be made in Virginia’s honor to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Pl, Memphis, TN 38105.
