Virginia Sue Link 95 of Newton died Monday December 23rd, 2013 at Conover Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born September 17th, 1918 she was the daughter of the late Brodus Booth White and Mary Ann Howell White. A daughter, Sonya Bush and husband Glenn of Newton; a brother, Brodus Jackson White of Sommerville, TX; four grandchildren, Neil E. Bush and wife Deana of Newton, Dr. Mark A. Bush of Cary, NC, Christopher E. Bush and wife Margaret of Claremont and Laura Katherine (Katie) Bush Setzer and husband Shea of Hickory and three great-grandsons, David, Derrick and Ryder survive her. A brother, Jimmy White and two sisters Rachel Deese, and Doris White preceded her in death. The funeral will be 3:00 pm Friday December 27th, 2013 at Jenkins Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Stephen Disher officiating. Burial will follow at Eastview Cemetery in Newton. The family will receive friends from 2-3:00 pm Friday December 27th, 2013 at the funeral home.
