Chief Apostle Wade McArthur Danner Sr. 67 of Hickory passed away Friday, October 9, 2020 at Catawba Valley Medical Center. Born April 3rd, 1953 he was the son of Harvey Lee Danner and Dora Claire Smith Danner.
In addition to his wife of 20 years, Annie Elizabeth Danner, four daughters Sonya Pearson of Hickory, Everly Tipps of Hickory, Erica Tipps of Hickory, Australia Ellis of Hickory; two sons Wade Danner Jr. of Hickory, Kevin Danner of Newton; three sisters Evangelist Christine Williams and husband Pastor Curtis Williams of Denver, NC, Pastor Katie Jennings and husband Deacon Steve Jennings of Statesville, Lisa Lyerly and husband Donald of Claremont; four brothers Bobby Danner and wife Verdell of Maiden, Bishop Gaither Danner wife Co Pastor Venessa of Newton, George Danner and wife Ida of Hickory, Donald Corey and wife Audrey of Hickory; 11 grandchildren a great grandchild on the way; and a host of God sons and daughters; nieces and nephews survive him.
In addition to his parents three brothers Glen Danner, Nathaniel Danner, and Johnny Danner preceded him in death.
The funeral will be 2:00 pm Saturday, October 17th, 2020 at Gate Called Beautiful Jesus Christ Church with Bishop Michael Sloan and Apostle Marvin Grant officiating. Burial will follow at Mary F. Danner Cemetery, behind Midnight Cry Praise and Worship Church.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm-2:00 pm Saturday, October 17th, 2020 at Gate Called Beautiful Jesus Christ Church at 172 29th Street Place SW, Hickory, NC 28602.
