Wallace Warndell "Tink" Tyndall, 77 of Wade died Friday, June 23rd, 2017 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. Born March 5th, 1940 in Cumberland County, he was the son of the late Lattie Carl Tyndall and Katie Elizabeth Lee Jernigan. Think dearly loved his family, especially his great grandchildren. He served with the National Guard and was a member of LightHouse Harvest Church, where he was a Deacon. He was a lifetime car painter and a dear friend and colleague recently said "He was the Best of the Best." Some of the shops he owned were Tarheel Customs & Imperial Body Shop, among many others. His wife of 54 years, Doris Ann Ivey Tyndall of the home; a daughter, Renee Gerald and Richard Hall of Autryville; a son, Wallace Tyndall and wife Marie Jenkins Tyndall of Fayetteville; a sister, Willa Mae Carver of Eastover; a grandson, Michael Shane Gerald; and two great grandchildren, Peyton Nichole Gerald and Hunter Shane Gerald survive him. The funeral will be 12:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 27th, 2017 at Cumberland Memorial Gardens Chapel with Pastor Donnie Smith officiating. Entombment will follow at Cumberland Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers include; Johnny Smith, Nelis Smith, Danny Ray Smith, Shannon Smith, Michael Gerald and Charlie Griffin. The family will receive friends from 11:00-12:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 27th, 2017 at Cumberland Memorial Gardens Chapel in Fayetteville. At other times the family will greet friends at the home of Wallace & Marie Tyndall, 4839 Murphy Road, Fayetteville.
