On Tuesday, December 1st 2020, Wesley Shaun Bumgarner, loving son, brother and friend passed away at the age of 32. Wesley was born on November 22, 1988 at Catawba Memorial Hospital to Darrell and Ruth Stout Bumgarner.
He was a self employed handyman for many years. He enjoyed spending time with friends and family. He had a passion for the mechanics of how things work. He was a talented auto mechanic and always stopped to help stranded motorists. Wesley lived life to the fullest, whether it was in a car or on a motorcycle, he pushed it to the limits and had no fear.
Wesley was preceded in death by grandparents J.D. and Pansy Bumgarner, Raymond and Virginia Stout, Patsy and Ernest Scott, father Darrell Bumgarner, aunts and uncles Randy Bumgarner, David Bumgarner, Louise and Herman Hosey, and Ray Stout.
He is survived by Mother Ruth Lynette Bumgarner of Conover, brothers and sisters Troy Bumgarner of Marion, Angela and Adam Stiles of Granite Falls, Kevin Cole of Kingsport, TN, Chris and Amanda Cole of Lenoir, and Bryan Bumgarner of Orlando, FL, And countless nephews, nieces, cousins, and lots of close friends.
Memorial and Celebration of Life will be held for Wesley Bumgarner at Jenkins Funeral Home 4081 Startown Rd. Newton, NC 28658 on Friday December 11th, 2020. Visitation starts at 2:00pm and Service is at 3:00pm.
