Wesley Moore

February 18, 1958 — October 6, 2020

Wesley Reid Moore, 62, of Vale passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at his residence. Born February 18th, 1958 he was the son of the late Joel and Vivian Moore. Wesley was a good, God-fearing man who served as a servant leader for 18 years at Kingsway Baptist Church. Wesley was a wonderful husband, and a loving father and grandfather who will be greatly missed. He never met a stranger and one of his greatest joys was being Santa at Christmas for the Conover Schools Toy Run.

He is survived by his wife of forty-three years Julie Moore of the home; a son Nathan Moore of the home; four grandsons Elijah Moore, Colton Moore, Kaleb Moore, and Aiden Moore of Mountain View; a grand-daughter Haleigh Parker of Statesville; a daughter-in-law Heather Kilby of Mountain View; two sisters Renee Shinn (David) of Claremont and Kathy Peticos of Hickory; a brother Terry Moore of Lexington; special friends Rob Bearfield of Sawmills and the Steiger Family: Brian, Holly, Bailey, Pippa, Evan, and Emma of Vale; his special fur children Gage Nova; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to his parents Wesley was preceded in death by his son Adam Moore; and his sissy Carolyn Lefevers.

Memorials may be made to Conover Schools Toy Run.

Due to COVID-19 the family will plan a memorial service at a later date.
