William Lynn

William Eulas Lynn 75 of Hickory died Monday, August 7th, 2017 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Born June 29th, 1942 he was the son of the late William Lester Lynn and Hazel Parrott Lynn. He retired from Marlow Furniture after 42 years as an upholstery supervisor. A faithful member of Faith Olive Baptist Church, he was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was a hard worker that was always willing to help anyone.   His wife of 58 years, Carole Parker Lynn of the home; two daughters, Doreen Lynn Crawford and husband Danny of Vale and Angela Lynn Parker and husband Jeff of Hickory; a son, William Lynn, Jr. and wife Rita of Hickory; a brother, A.V. Lynn and wife Pat of Vale; two sisters, Diane Heavner of Hickory and Kathy Estes of Hickory; three sisters in law, Bobbie Sue Lynn of Vale, Janet Hartley of Lenoir and Ruby Lynn of Connelly Springs; two brothers in law, Wayne Reese of Hickory, Richard Owenby of Greer, SC; seven grandchildren, Jessica Carney and husband Keith Howick of San Antonio, TX, Jill Roberts and husband Danny of Hickory, Candace Ollis and husband Aaron of Colorado Springs, CO, Ashley Ham and husband Kyle of La Plata, MD, Kyle Kanupp of Hickory, Matthew Kanupp and wife Heather of Hickory and Jimmy Parker and wife Brenda of Hickory and 10 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews survive him. Three brothers, Loy Lynn, Donald Lynn and Allen Lynn, two sisters, Janet Reese and Louann Owenby, a brother in law, Charles Estes preceded him in death. The funeral will be 4:00 pm Friday, August 11th, 2017 at Faith Olive Baptist Church with Pastor Arthur Yount and Pastor Ernie Richards officiating. Burial will follow at Faith Olive Baptist Church Cemetery.
