William Woodward

William Durene Woodward, 72, of Claremont died Saturday, February 6, 2021 at Catawba valley Medical Center. Born September 23rd, 1948 he was the son of William and Carrie Woodward.

Woodward is survived by a son Thomas Woodward and Gwen Holbrook, a daughter Teresa Salmeron and Juan Salmeron, a granddaughter Stephanie Salmeron-Osuba and Raffi Osuba, and a close friend Ramona Blanton.

Woodward's wife; Martha Woodward and his parents; William and Carrie Woodward preceded him in death.


The family will receive friends from 4:00-5:00 P.M. on Friday, February 12, 2021 at Jenkins Funeral Home.
