Willie Barnett

Willie Mae Barnett, 94 of Denver died Thursday, January 22nd, 2015 at her residence. Born May 1st, 1920, she was the daughter of the late William Ruffin Jones and Pearl Mae Miller Jones. A daughter, Peggy A. Starnes and husband Milton of Denver, NC; two sisters, Marion Stern of Towson, MD and Catherine Meyersohn of Sunset Beach, SC; a brother, Cameron Jones of Mexico; six grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren survive her. Her first husband, Clarence Austin, her second husband, Robert Barnett and a daughter, Betty Chapman preceded her in death. A Celebration of Willie's life will be 2:00 pm Saturday, January 24, 2015 at Shiloh United Methodist Church in Lenoir. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
