Willie Flem Cobb 77 of Hickory died Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at Carolina Caring. Born December 17th, 1941 he was the son of the late Preston Cobb and Leatha (Banks) Cobb.
Those left to cherish Willie's memory include his wife Fannie Cobb; granddaughter Kenya Williams; two great grandchildren Ja' Kari and Kenadi Williams; three sisters Mary Cobb of Shelby, Sarah Moon of Fayetteville, and Willie Mae Hall of Gastonia; one brother Joseph Cobb of Asheville, a special adoptive mother Mrs. Hannah of Shelby; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.
In addition to his parents, his brothers Calhoun Cobb, Preston Cobb, and sister Ida Buckner, preceded him in death.
The funeral will be 2:00 pm Sunday August 11, 2019 at Maple Grove Church of God.
The family will receive friends from 1:30-2:00 pm Sunday August 11, 2019 at the church.
