Wilma Beaty

Wilma Mae Beaty, 77 of Water Plant Road, Maiden died Friday, February 25, 2011 at Palliative CareCenter & Hospice of Catawba Valley. Born July 9, 1933 in Lincoln County, she was the daughter of the late Jessie Arp Cooke & Verona Mae Smith Cooke. A son, Ron Beaty and wife Diane Beaty of Maiden; a sister, Jean Miller of Conover; an Aunt, Peggy Cooke; two grand-children, Joshua & Dianna Beaty and a great-grand daughter, Brooke Pack survive her. The funeral service will be 3:00 pm on Sunday, March 6, 2011 at United Church of Christ in Maiden. A visitation will follow the service at the church. Pastor Ronnie Parker will officiate.
