Xang Yang

Xang Yang, 47 of Hickory died Saturday, February 2, 2013 at Catawba Valley Medical Center. Born December 8, 1965 in Laos, he was the son of Youa Vang Yang & Tong Vang Yang of Fresno, California. In addition to his wife, Mee Yang of the home; a daughter, Nou Yang of Hickory; two sisters, Mai Yang Lo of Denver, CO and Phoua Yang Xiong of EauClaiou, Wisconsin; two brothers, Shawn Yang of Nebo, NC and Chou Yang of Connelly Springs survive him. The Hmong Funeral will begin at 8:00 a.m. on Friday, February 15, 2013 and conclude at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 17, 2013. The funeral will be conducted at Jenkins Funeral Home & Pavilion on Startown Road in Newton. Burial will follow in TBD Cemetery.
