Xay “Joe” Xiong passed away on September 2, 2020 at age 41. Joe was a loving son, brother, and father. He was born on March 8, 1979 in Thailand to Ying Xiong and Cha Lee Vang. On July 18, 1997 he became a father to his only child, GaoSee. Joe was employed by GKN for 12+ years, working from the floor up to a maintenance position.
Joe was known for his outgoing personality, his infectious sense of humor, his generosity, and the love that he showed to those in his life. He loved spending time with his family, friends, and especially his nieces and nephews. He had various hobbies and his favorites were fixing cars with his dad and brothers, playing volleyball, and throwing the best and most enjoyable get togethers for family and friends.
Joe is survived by his parents; Ying Xiong and Cha Lee Vang, his brothers; Brong, Neng (Pao), and Fong, his sisters; Pa, Yang (Mary), Kia (Shoua Yee), Lea, and Chia, his daughter, GaoSee, several nieces and nephews, and numerous relatives and friends.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd, 2020, from 8:00 am- 11:00 pm, and Sunday, October 4th, 2020, from 9:00 am- 1:00 pm at Jenkins Funeral Home. The burial will follow Sunday’s funeral service at South Side Cemetery.
