Zella Schronce

Zella Gertrude Schronce, 83, of Maiden went home to be with her Heavenly Father Friday, September 3, 2021 at Catawba Valley Medical Center. Born October 21st, 1937 she was the daughter of the late Raymond Albert Philips and Pansy Green Philips.

Children, Donna Hoyle and husband Carroll, Pansy Warsham, Patricia Green and husband Billy and Michael Adams; husband Odis Schronce; sisters, Virginia Philips Butler, Kathleen Green, Thula Drum, Judy Philips and J.D. Philips; Grandchildren, Chasity Beam Setzer and husband Robbie, Chelsea Hoyle and husband Flynn Corton; Ryan Hoyle and wife Ju, Angela G. Roseboro (late husband Johnny), Billy J. Adams, James C. Crouch, Chanda Fowler, Kim Fowler, Tosha Warsham, Lennie Warsham; step-sons Jeff Schronce and wife Cristy and Charles Schronce and wife Kathy; 15 great grandchildren and 14 great great grandchildren survive her.

In addition to her parents, a son Lester Hubert Adams Jr., a sister, Betty Jean Summerow; a brother, Billy Joe Philips; husbands, Lester Hubert Adams and Tommy Shuford preceded her in death.

A graveside service will be held at Fairview Cemetery in Hickory on Friday, September 10, 2021 at 3:30 pm with Pastor Ray York officiating.
