Zion Gaither

Zion Trayshun Gaither, 20, of Hickory, passed away on Tuesday, June 8, 2021. Born July 20th, 2000 he was the son of O'Deria Dante Glaspy and Twanna Shartis. Zion was known for being a loving and loyal young man. He always wore the biggest smile and enjoyed playing his Play  Station 4.

In addition to his mother and father, Zion is survived by his brothers;  Zaden Glaspy, D'Mell Covington, Keagen Covington, Kingston Wise, Josiah Morrison, sisters;  Jamillah Glaspy, Abrielle Morrison, Zariah Glaspy; grandparents, Rufus Stanford, Tammy Stanford, Shirley      Stanford, and William Franklin Clarke; aunts, Tamara Stanford, Tasha Hope, Tiecha Glaspy, Dorothy Gaither, Camilla Johnson, Tammy Flemons; uncles, Allen Gaither, James Gaither, David Glaspy, Quider Glaspy, Daniel Glaspy, Curtis Williams; special friends, Devin, Kiante, Garrett, RJ, Ethan, TJ, Stinky, Markell and Cam. Surviving Zion includes a great number of friends and family.

Preceding Zion in his passing include his maternal great-grandparents Bessie McCorkle, and Herman McCorkle; cousin, Corey Gaither, and paternal grandmother, Carolyn Glaspy.

A celebration of life for Zion Gaither will be held 3:00PM Tuesday June 22, 2021 at Jenkins Funeral Home Celebration Center. The family with receive friends from 2:00PM-3:00PM Tuesday June 22, 2021 at Jenkins Funeral Home Celebration Center.
